UTAH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Hi! I’m so excited to meet you—my name is Shannon, and I’m a Salt Lake City–based photographer who loves capturing real, joy-filled moments between couples. I specialize in photographing love in an authentic, creative way, and I’m all about helping you showcase you—your personalities, your connection, and your story.
My sessions are relaxed, fun, and low-pressure. We’ll focus on guided, candid moments that feel natural and playful, with a perfect balance of posed and spontaneous photos in your final gallery. No stiff or awkward vibes here!
I know being in front of the camera can feel intimidating (even for a quick iPhone pic!), so I’ve got you covered. Every couple receives a helpful engagement session guide with outfit tips, advice for calming nerves, and everything you need to feel confident and prepared. I’ll guide you through flattering, natural poses so you can focus on enjoying each other.
You’ll also get access to my exclusive Utah location guide—whether you’re dreaming of mountains, city views, forests, or even beaches, we’ll find the perfect spot. I can’t wait to meet you and capture your love story!

You might be surprised by how much influence you have over the overall look and feel of your photos. One of the biggest factors is what you choose to wear — and it’s completely normal for that decision to feel overwhelming at first. My goal is to help simplify the process by giving you the guidance you need to confidently choose outfits that reflect the style and mood you want for your shoot. Once your Utah engagement session is officially booked, I’ll send over my Engagement Photo Guide, where I walk through all of this in detail to make planning easy and stress‑free.
UTAH ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS

When do I recommend taking engagement photos in utah?
I typically suggest photographing during the final 1–2 hours before sunset, when the light is softest and most flattering. That said, certain locations allow us to start a bit earlier if there’s sufficient shade and beautiful natural light. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, and feel free to contact me when you’re ready to book your Utah engagement session!
